Overweight travel case 2 sets of clubs...

Ok so i'm going to Hawaii for the holidays...

I have a travel case which i can fit 2 set of clubs and 2 bags in and i'm literally at 50 pounds on the nose... no balls in the bags... just clubs, bags and travel case...

with some balls few accessories etc im about 60 lbs...

at 50 pounds i don't feel to comfortable i cant even fit in a towel to wrap around the heads, or will be over 50 lbs...

but being in hard travel case im sure they should be ok...

me and The old lady are traveling and both enjoy golfing :)

we are flying Westjet there and Hawaiian airlines between islands

im not concerned with Westjet its 50 bucks each way for oversize...

but Hawaiian states how many clubs, bags, and that they could refuse he bag...

so i'm not sure if i should go find a used hard travel case just for peace of mind..

i'm thinking of going oversize and stuffing it all in one case... not sure if we will get two cases into rental car either... i know we can get on in for sure even if it has to go in the front seat....

what do you guys think?

I have no problem fitting two hard cases across the back seat in a full-size rental sedan.

I believe most airlines (if not all) really give you up to 50.5 lbs, as a "50" lb limit.
We were at 50.3 lbs last year (on Southwest Airlines), and she put a sticker on it confirming it was OK.
I was ready to pull out a couple items and transfer to another suitcase, and she said, "no need" you're good up to 50.5 lbs.

Anyway, I'd just stuff them both in one golf travel bag if they fit...
