How long does the lazer etch usually last?

About half a season, depending on how much you play.. the grooves are still good after a season and a half.

Yea you work through the laser milling pretty fast, but it still performs flawlessly for me after a season and half. Compared this against the vokey and really feel more confident with this. I have the 54 & 60 degree wedges currently. Make sure when buying this wedge you consider the bounce options carefully, seen way to many people walk in, pick the wedge with the loft they want then not be satisfied because the bounce is wrong for their swing or how they want the club to feel.

The rounded shape of these guys has really thrown me off and I feel like I haven't generated as much distance as I have with my previous setup. I'm a bit of a digger and I have two-dot, medium bounces.. Not sure what's up.

I bought a set (3 wedges) early this year and was very dissapointed. The laser etched grooves began to wear away in less than a dozen rounds. I believe the laser etching is just a gimmick to sell the wedges (it got me). Also, I thought ALL Cleveland wedges were forged and these are cast. I sold them within a couple of months and put the CG12's back in the bag.

Wow, glad I came here first. Was just about to drop some cash on some of these. Didn't realize they weren't forged.

I loved mine, but am so glad that I upgraded to the 588 Forged.

I have the 56 & 60 with 14° and 12° bouce respectively. I am guilty of walking in and buying without considering the bounce/effective bounce carefully enough for my fairly tight-lies fairways/sandy-earth-heavy bunkers. I'm pretty sure I need less bounce and much less effective bounce, so will give a go at grinding the 60°/12° at some point to get it down to ~8° and give it a toe/trailing edge grind.
