Sawgrass Country Club

Has anyone here played at Sawgrass Country Club? I'm making a trip to this part of FL in a few weeks and got a tee time at the Stadium Course but the Valley Course was completely booked. We were recommended Sawgrass Country Club but I've never heard of it before so I am curious whether anyone has experience at this course? Based on the website it looks like a nice course (then again most courses "look" nice on their respective website...)

sawgrass country club is where the player's championship tournament started when relocating to ponte vedre before moving across the street to its current location. this course is legit and hosts a fairly significant collegiate tournament every february as well. i expect you'll enjoy.....my co worker's husband is the teaching pro there so i have a bit of an inside track that's helpful

Thanks, it looks like a nice course. It appears as though they have 3 9-hole segments...any advice on which two to play?

you can't wrong any of the 9s....none to me is better than the other & presents its own set of challenges. as you might have noticed there's water on just about every hole so you have to bring some decent stick but still overall a great time knocking it around

I second Kemau. Played it last March. Can't recall the respective nines played, but I do remember a tight start, and an overall stern test in a stiff wind. Fun track.

It's been a couple years but I remember it being well manicured and a fun course. You will enjoy it!
