Long time golfer finally back to golf after a car accident

I had so much going for me when I first took up golf. I signed up for lessons prior to swinging a club, and as a result I had great mechanics. I went from a 20 to an 8.5 within two years, and the 8.5 was bad course management. Which I was in the process of learning. I had a teaching pro who liked my swing so much he always gave me free lessons. I practiced almost every day, putted 2 hours, chipped for hours, but my driver and putter were always my best clubs. I was a student of the game, read and memorized the rule books, played tournaments, leagues, and I even signed up for the John Daley challenge.

Then everything changed. I got a frontal-offset greeting at 50mph by an SUV while I was in a left turn lane. Neck issues, couldn't rotate around my spine without pain. Couldn't golf like I used to if at all for a few years. I gave up trying.

Years later, chiropractic therapy, stretching, massages(nice!) and exercises I am finally back to moving 100%.

I can't hit my Ben Hogan Apex Edge Pros like I used to, and since equipment is so much better now I am on the hunt for game improvement irons.

This site has proven to be a great resource for researching, connecting, and of course being entertained by all the boasting!

[size=4]I also took time off from golf because of dire family issues and once I got through that part of my life I started to play golf again. [/size]
Everyday on the golf course Ive come to realize how lucky I am to be able to play this game called golf. Love the competition and and people I meet. Good stuff.
