Characteristics of the 869 & 952....

Hey all to those who know...

I am trying to find out what the playing characteristics of these two shafts...

Fujikura Speeder 952 and the Fujikura Speeder 869.


What do these shafts have to offer in regards to spin rates, launch angles, feel, etc. I am looking to use one of them in a #3 fairway metal. (Leaning towards the 952, but not sure.)


Also, how do both of the above shafts compare to the Fujikura ZCom Pro95.

lets see where to start.. ok I hate the 952. it's boardy, it's ultra high kick and lacks the traditional fuji feel. On the other hand the 869 is wonderful, much easier to elevate with it's mid/high kick. Ofcourse the 952 will spin less, but the 869 is not that bad. The 869 is very comparable to the pro95 with better feel and a hair softer tip.

Would the Speeder 952 reduce (or help to reduce) the spin if it was put into a clubhead like the Titleist 906F4?!

 

I tend to spin that head a bunch and hit even the 13.5 loft high.

 

Just curious.

 

 

 

Sounds as though the 869 is a great shaft to go into a 906F2 head, with the deeper face and higher CG!
