UST Proforce V2 Stock Offering in Cleveland’s HiBore

FORT WORTH, Texas — United Sports Technologies®, one of the largest and most successful graphite golf shaft manufacturers in the world, today announced that Cleveland Golf will offer the premium Proforce® V2 graphite shaft as a stock option in its soon to be released HiBore driver.

“The Proforce V2’s low torque and balanced tip section offers better control and greater distance for driver heads such as Cleveland’s HiBore,” explained Don Rahrig, vice president of engineering and OEM sales for UST. “The V2 also offers players exceptional feel in the hands and better stability to launch the ball with maximize power when needed. The V2 is one of the hottest new shafts on the professional tour and contributed to the company’s overall 22 percent growth on Tour in 2005.”

HiBore drivers assembled with the V2 will be available at authorized Cleveland Golf dealers nationwide starting April 15. Cleveland will offer the 65-gram Proforce V2 in the driver model at no up charge to dealers. Additionally, the V2 also will be available in other Cleveland driver models as a custom option, with an up charge to dealers.
