Aldila NV replacement

Any suggestions for replacing an Aldila NV 65-S. I like the launch (could use a tad more) and the low spin but I seem to have trouble with the dispersion. Ideally I would like to keep the same specs but with a better feel & tighter dispersion. Will the V2 produce similar results?

the v2 is going to add a little more spin to the ball, but is a great great shaft. you might be able to tip it and bring that spin down.

 

i find the aldila nv-75 a great shaft. great feel, similar to the nv-65, but tighter shaft and i think it "pops" more.

I would think a V2 would do it. I would also recommend the Graffalloy Comp NT. I switched the NV out for the NT and got a slightly higher launch and better dispersion. IMO it has a better feel than the V2

I have both the Callaway FT-3 9.5* Tour drivers with the NV 65 Stiff and the V2 76g Stiff. I launch the ball a bit higher with the V2. Both shafts seem to have very similiar boring characteristics and I did not notice much difference in spin. The V2 shaft seems to give me a better and more consistent ball flight over the NV. I am keeping both drivers and will continue to experiment with both. I like the NV and the V2 but the higher launch with the V2 gave me more carry distance. My swing speed is around 108-112 mph.

 

One more thing, the V2 holds up very well when I go after one which is important. The NV did as well but when I went after it, my ball flight would have a slight fade where with the V2 I hit a slight draw.

Seriously, this may sound goofy, but please check out or try a accuflex evolution. I put one in one of my smt drivers the other day, and I like it better than the NV, maybe you will too.
