What's next for uPro?

Currently caught in the vortex of indecision on a new GPS. I love the uPro and its features and functions - but the screen is just too small for me to comfortably see with aging eyes - any thoughts on them delivering a product one of these days with a screen more the size of the SGX, V500, or onPar units?

I have aging eyes as well. I found if I turned on green outlines and large font that I could still use the uPro. I have a bit of a problem with courses done from winter areal views - lack of contrast makes them hard to see. Unfortunately, most of the courses in my area (NE) were done in late fall or early spring, and brown on brown is a bit trying.

I am a bit of a GPS junkie as I have three of them. I have the Garmin G5, Upro and Skycaddie SG5. I also have a Bushnell scope! I use the Garmin the most because it has most of the courses I want and I don't have to constantly download courses when I head out to play. I play mostly in Alberta Canada, Phoenix and Palm Springs. I have only found 2 course in Canada (at least where I play) that are not mapped on the Garmin. The Garmin has all available courses preloaded. It also does stats for upto 4 players and they can be downloaded to your PC. The Skycaddie is ok but only holds 20 courses so I am constantly loading it. (Road trips mean you have to take your PC with you!!) The upro has some nice features like flyover but that got old really quick. I have now disabled the flyovers. The upro also doesn't allow stat tracking, even though when I bought it over a year ago they were promising this feature. I also find the screen really hard to see in PRO mode when in good sunlight. I require glasses for reading so it is difficult to operate a GPS without my glasses on. The Garmin and SG5 are ok to use even without my glasses as the font is big enough. The upro uses too small a font, probably because of the smallest screen of the three. Both the upro and SG5 screens scratched really quickly. (I carry them in my pocket). The Garmins only draw back is the size but them it is very rugged. I have dropped in on the cart path numerous times and it just keeps on going!

Doesn't seem like when callaway gobbled up upro they pretty much killed any chance of it being competitive?

The Upro was the first gps that made me consider gps, but I never pulled the trigger because they just missed it by a little bit. I thought this would either come through a software update or the second generation.

Now I can't figure I'd callaway is sitting on gen 2 of the hardware or has decided to let I die.
