Which program works the best

I have several options for golf gps programs for my BlackBerry. Can anyone provide any suggestions.
My options are:
1. Golf GPS
2. BBGPSGolf
3. GolfLogix

+1 I would be very interested in any replies to this as well. I just got a Blackberry today and was curious about GPS options. There are actually a few apps available on the phone for download, but would love to get some wisdom from the GolfWRX community.

I really like NRange. The map is not the best, and it only shows front middle back of green distance. However, it has never been more than 3 yards off of other gps's that my dad or the course has. Sorry I can't help with the ones you listed.

BBGPS Golf is 'free' so you might as well try it (although I do suggest a donation to the guy who wrote it!)

It's a somewhat technical install, so be prepared to work at it a little to get it running. However, it has some really cool stuff that the other programs don't such as:

1. You can edit the maps and add/change points as needed for the community. For example, I've added some key layup points to certain holes at a course I play regularly. You add the points online in a Google Maps interface--just drop them and label them!

2. You can store the maps on your SD card so no need for a data connection to download the course file

3. No subscription fee

On the other hand, it doesn't offer good a "overview" of the hole where you can pick targets and such--in fact the screen is just text and yardages. I kind of like that for a course I know well. On a an unknown course I prefer a yardage book.

If you want something quick and easy, I think the best thing is GolfLogix. Supported by a company, lots of courses, good functionality, etc.. A guy I play with uses this and it seems to work well enough.

One thing to be catious of is that the GPS chip will suck your Blackberry battery dry very quickly. You should aim to have a full charge before your round, and plan on charging it if you want to use your phone after the round is over!

I use two.
1) nRange for yardages. Easy to see/read. Free version allows you to have 3 courses.
2) mScoreCard for scoring. Extremely simple entry. This also has a gps if you want to use it. If you turn the gps option on, it is simple text (front/middle/back) above the scorecard on same screen. You can also map your course with this app if it's not already available. You can also upload/edit scores and view stats on their website.

I have a BB8530 and with using both these apps simultaneously I use just over 1/2 the battery for 18 holes. I do holster it between strokes. Use just over 1/4 if only using one.

I have the Pro version on my Tilt and for the money, it does what I need it to do.

I liked FreeCaddie also but have gotten away from using it since it will not use the bb's internal gps. I had to use an external gps puck for it to work and charging/carring another 'device' is to much of a pain. Great product though.

I used BBGPSGOLF this weekend and it was fairly easy to use. I entered my scores for each hole, but after the end of the round I'm unable to find or upload my information. Can anyone help? Thanks

I really like swing by swing. Google them and then you can download it.

I think it is terrific. You can quickly map your course and for a low fee you can get the scorecard and stat tracking feature. It did not drain my battery.

I've used BBGPS for a year and for the money (free) it was great but I always had issues with it locking up or not uploading the data. The development seemed pretty stagnant as well but that's to be expected with freeware. I now use Golflogix and have found it to be accurate and feature rich. One thing that I have issues with is using the trackball to move though the program. With the Curve it tends to lag a bit which makes choosing the next or back buttons an issue at times. I love the Golflogix Clubhouse however and how it presents your round and cumulative data.
