Just a guy who got off to a late start

Hello guys and gals, my name is Juan i'm from Pasadena California and I'm 21 and I feel like I got started a little late on this great game, when I was kid my dad tried to get me to play the sport (he works at a course) and I thought i was "too cool" for the sport, about a year and a half ago I decided to start playing and I fell in love after my first range session. I'm currently in the process of getting my handicap index but i figure i'll be in the 18's give or take. I would love to meet and play with some guys/gals that can sort of guide me in the right direction I feel as if I know so little about the game and reading helps but there's nothing like living it. Sorry for the long and boring intro I just love this site and hope to become a frequent poster if not lurker :) as for what's in my bag i play the following:
