anyone played them?

Hey, i was wondering if anyone has played these courses, i've looked them up online but it always better to hear first hand. What did you think?

Noosa Springs Golf Course (Australia)
The Abaco Club (Bahamas)
The Ocean Club (Bahamas)
Mount Juliet Golf Club (Ireland)
Yasukogen Country Club (Japan)
Loch Lomond Golf Club (Scotland)
Royal St. Kitts Golf Club (West Indies)
White Witch Golf Course (Jamaica)

Any info would be great!

You won't find anyone who has played Loch Lomond unless they are a friend/guest of a member or they have played in the Scottish Open.

I've played the White Witch on a couple of visits to Jamaica, it's superb. Amazing scenery with almost every hole a 'signature hole', can be a little unfair from the back tees but breathtaking wherever you play it from. The course at the Wyndham Rose at the base of the hill is also fantastic, the course at Half Moon is also good. The White Witch is the highlight however.

As for Loch Lomond...it's good to know somebody with a debenture there.... :beach:

thanks guys. I know loch lomond is extremely exclusive (the oct golf digest has a bunker sereis with Ernie Els that was shot at Loch Lomond). You never know though, doesn't hurt to ask!

Agreed, White Witch looks amazing online, although the others are equally impressive.

Loch Lomond is fantastic if you can get on. Even then it is expensive to say the least. clubs here in Scotland can get a tee from I think £320. I used to play ot once a week before the current owners

Mount Juliet is OK not great but worth playing

One of the shareholders in the company I work for is a member at Loch Lomond. Got members tickets for the open....Yet to get a game there though....don't see it happening either sadly :beach:

Played White Witch a couple of times. Breathtaking views from every hole, and especially the club house. The driving range is a bit goofy, but you are literally hitting balls into the horizon towards the ocean. One of our guys who is extremly fearful of heights would not play after going up the first time. This same guy has to keep his eyes closed when crossing high bridges like on the Blue Ridge Parkway and such. One fo the few Caribbean course I will pay to play. Forecaddies are very educated and don't mind burning one with you if you take a notion..............prepp

the abaco club is no joke. but it is a private island really and more of a romantic getaway for you and the lady. it is beyond relaxing and just simply amazing. the course is really nice but not much to do there unless you have a wife or girlfriend with you

thanks for all of the info. I'm in the PGA/PGM program and am looking to do an internship at one of the courses i listed above. The white witch would be good because it is good to get in with marriott, but i really want to go abroad, and those are some of the possibilities. any more?!?!

wow, that would be fun! nice places to choose from. If I were you, you should be looking into what place would be fun to live and have a life after work. the islands are VERY boring, seems like heaven, but unless your a native or 80years old it is beyond boring to live! scotland, japan and australia might have have the best "life" and things to do besides golf.
