Aldila Tour Green

Happy Monday everyone I hope you were all able to get plenty of golf in this weekend.

 

 

I just recently upgraded my 913f shaft from Diamana S+ Blue 72 to the Aldila Tour Green 75 S. First off all I love this shaft not only does it look great, it feels great. I went from being a hooking machine with my diamana to a nice penetrating ball flight with a manageable draw. The weight distrubition in the shaft really matches the 913f head and I am in love.

 

I also have an i25 with the stock PWR 65g tour stiff shaft. Playing the i 25 at 9* with the 9.5* head. I hit the ball just fine with the stock shaft but I could use a little more distance. My carry is about 260 with the i25. I'm not getting much roll out because our fairways are soaked in Chicago. I was wondering if anyone has tried out the Tour Green with the i25 head? What are your thoughts on this combination? Was it able to produce more distance? I gained about 7 yards in my 913f from making the switch.

Can't say on the driver but i have put this shaft in my hybrid and 3 wood 913's. Loving it. Ball flight is VERY consistent. Low to mid flight. The Diamana blue would balloon just a bit on me. I'm sure it'd work just as well in the i25. Although that is a lower spinning head than the titleist so you might want a little more loft on the head.
