Taylormade 2014 CB Vs. Taylormade Rocketbladez Tour

I've been playing the TM Tour Preferred CBs (2014 Model) for a while now. Standard length and lie, 4-AW with the KBS Tour Stiff. I've hit some Callaway Apex Pros and some Srixon745 irons and a few others, but I've come across a set of Rocketbladez Tour 3-PW that haven't been hit for a really great price. Same length and lie as mine with the same shaft. I just wanted to get some feedback from some people who have the Rocketbladez Tour in the bag right now. I've deduced a few things on my own, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

 

Across the board...

TM TP CBs are a degree stronger through the whole set than the Rocketbladez Tour.

 

Rocketbladez Tour are cast not forged.

 

Rocketbladez Tour have a smaller head shape than the TP CBs.

 

I've personally been looking for something with a little bit thinner topline and a little more forgiveness. I've read all kinds of reviews that when these clubs were out, they were pretty solid. I understand I'll be going backwards as far as year models go, but the set I'm looking at is less than $300...still in the plastic. I'm also curious to know if it's possible to have them bent a degree or is that impossible due to them being cast?

 

Any advice or conversation would be appreciated!

I currently own both sets. I've been playing the Rocketbladez tours since their release and have been trying to replace them with Tour Preferred CBs for about a month now. I'm pretty sure that both sets are cast. To my eye it appears that the CBs are slight smaller/thinner than the Rocketbladezs. With that being said I don't really see any big advantage in making a switch to the CBs. The only thing that I could say is that the CBs maybe do feel a little better, but I feel like the Rocketbladez are easier to hit. However that could be due to the fact that I'm just used to them.

See I'm looking to do the opposite. You might be right on them both being cast. Taylormade says they can be bent up to 4 degrees, and I know the Rocketbladez are a degree weaker than the CBs, so I thought about getting them bent a degree stronger. Do you have the same shafts in both?

Yes Same exact shafts in both. My Rocketbladez were bent roughly about a degree stronger than the CBs and the distances are nearly identical. As of right now I'm leaning towards sticking with th Rocketbladez and selling the CBs. I just prefer the RBZs
