We have an amazing testing opportunity for our members, just in time for the start of golf season. We are looking for five (5) members to test the new PING i530 irons! If you desire a compact, blade-style head and your primary goal is more distance, the new i530 is engineered to launch the ball higher and farther with the consistency and predictability to hit shots closer to the hole. About the PING i530 Irons

PING's new i530 irons feature an internal weight pad that provides a deeper and thinner face-to-sole transition, ensuring more face flexing and pushing mass down to lower the center of gravity in the design for more ball speed. The forged, highly flexible maraging steel C300 face is precisely welded to a 17-4 stainless steel hollow body. A polymer applied inside the head on the back of the face bids to improve feel and sound while maximizing face bending. The body design contributes to distance by accentuating face bending. The lower CG is more aligned with where impact occurs, and distance-optimized lofts bids to help ensure more distance and higher max height for green-holding results. Three loft configurations (Standard, Power and
Retro) are available to optimize a golfer’s launch conditions during the custom fitting process.

Why would you like to test the new PING i530 Irons?   Favorite irons were my Titleist DCI 96.  Favorite iron shaft was the Project X.  Looking for head size closer to the Titleists, but with more forgiveness.  This DG Mid shaft looks to be almost like a lighter weight version of the PX, and I need lighter shafts after a couple of shoulder surgeries.  I wanted to like the ZX7s when I tested them, but I didn't love the feel.  But the Modus 105 was a pretty good replacement for the heavier PX shafts that I had, so I went with ZX5 / Modus 105.  i530 look like they might be the best of all worlds for me - compact head, forgiveness, feel, plus PX performance in a lighter shaft.

Senior golfer with rapidly declining swing speed.  I would love to test the i530's as I have yet to see the i525's in the wild and fell many of my other senior golf buddies could benefit from the distance add.  Most are still good ball strikers but we all lose swing speed as we age.  These could provide that without the usual trappings of game improvement irons.  My health is finally recovering after a year of concern.  Ready to get back on the course all summer again.

4. I currently get out on the course about 4-5 times a month and don't have much time to practice. With my current setup the bad days are very bad, so I would like to try something that is more forgiving and hopefully gain some control when I'm not hitting it on the screws.

Why would you like to test the new PING i530 Irons?  I have had the G700s, G710s, and then moved into the i525's.  Now that I am over 60, definitely needing some help and looking to move into a lighter weight graphite from steel.  Always intriqued with the newest irons that Ping offers.  Also as a lefty, it is nice when a manufacturer offers a great assortment for the other side of the ball.

4. Why would you like to test the new PING i530 Irons? I'd love to have just a little extra distance and forgiveness. I think they're fantastic looking irons -- love the relatively thin top line and the blade length is perfect. I also want to go to a 52/58 wedge set-up, so the 42 degree PW and 47 degree UW would work perfectly for me.

4. Why would you like to test the new PING i530 Irons? - I am a huge PING fan - PING driver and hybrids, PING putter, bag(s), PING hat, PING den caddy in my garage. Just not irons. Wanted to pick up the i525s when they were released, but ended up staying with my PXGs (which are kind of PINGs) to save the dough.

Arccos can provide good on course data as well.
