Ping Tour W wedge's

availability of black nickel

Is Ping going to come out with more options on their Tour W wedges in the black nickel? Or do I call Ping and have some made up to what I want? There is a lot more options in the brushed silver than in the black nickel for whatever reason:

in black nickel they do not have:
54/14.....56/14...58/6....58/10....60/6....60/10

but they have all these in brushed silver.

Why would the do this?

Don't even try to order the Tour W Black Nickel in left handed because I have been waiting on a order (52, 60) placed at the beginning of December. I was told they would ship out on 1/17 but that has not happened. I have yet to see the brushed silver in lefty anywhere.

Because nickel is only going to appeal to a small subset of buyers. Most people want there equipment to look similar. The rusted or black look is only popular on boards like this

If you're looking something lower in bounce, you can always have Ping WRX grind off some bounce.

Trouble Grinding a Black Nickel Wedge would take the Nickel Coating off leaving you with a shiny silver sole.

I just think Ping limit the options on Black Nickel because it has very limited fitting options. I'm sure they'd love to offer all the options they do in brushed silver but as they have such a limited range on lie and loft adjustment, a large portion of golfers wouldn't purchase them.

I love the look of Black Wedges but my setup doesn't allow me to purchase them as Ping can't set them to Silver Lie Angle.
