Swing advice

Everyone pretty much says how your lead arm hangs that’s accounting for your anatomy.

Then the right hand goes on with the palm on the side of the grip. Only person that really is teaching something different with trail hand is Mike adams.

You asking questions but aren’t trying to implement any of the information you are given. At some point you are either going to have to try the advice you are giving and get feedback on whether you are doing it right and/or if anything is improving or choose to move on and either go with anyone of the various free or paid teaching sites or go to an in person instructor. The latter is probably your best option

I have been sorting my hip movement since discovering this via @wagolfer7 pointing it out to me. Then grip came into the question and I have watched so many videos on this alone in the last 24 hours. Been making swings with my right hand a little more palm on the grip and i can see how that would work. I will keep working on this.

I have a membership with Tom Saguto and Shawn Clement also. But they teach very differently so I am having to choose now. Padraig Harrington's videos have opened my eyes more than most though I have to say after my hip movements were pointed out to me, his videos on the hip/pelvis completely blew my mind in terms of how we aren't turning the hips like i have been doing in my swing videos..

Do you recommend any free learning sites?

I will be paying a visit to a local pro named David Leathem when I have the cash again.

Usually standard play on a golf forum where almost everything is discussed as all things being equal unless an OP declares a condition falling outside that norm which will branch the discussion off in different directions and suggestions.  Nothing really new there.

Anatomy is a big part too and not overlooked just sometimes prevents the discussion from going into the deep weeds.  For instance, the club actually connects to the arms, via the grip, so arm orientation in space and anatomy is important.

I hear you. I was more referencing the multitude of videos explaining the grip. It just leads to these situations where someone is doing it and going against their own anatomy. But yea I understand it's the norm on forums and the like unless the OP states otherwise. Saying that, the OP doesn't always know these differences and can assume they are doing it wrong vs them not getting the best guidance.

So I have done some experimenting with my grip after watching a video by Chris Trott on the grip.

I have found the result being a strong left hand and a weak right hand is resulting in my clubface coming back to square address position without any manipulation of the clubface.

Anyone know if this is just down to my anatomy or would this be the same for everyone? Keeping in mind most are taught to release or turn their wrists through impact in order to square the clubface.

Grip in the left hand rides higher up in the palm than I generally like to see. I call that "fake strong."

Just some closing thoughts.    The idea is to keep your address head position still and just glance down and over with your eyes for a better perspective on how many knuckles you see.  Tipping your head over for a peek is cheating..lol..!   Hogan used about 20% of his book describing a grip, it's pretty important stuff and I applaud your energy addressing this function.    See the pro, show him/her this thread and proceed from there.   Post final results.  Good luck.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
