Online coaches

There are many coaches out there these days especially on YouTube and many of them are great at what they do. I am fighting with myself over two of them at the moment. Namely Tom Saguto and Shawn Clement.

 

They have two very different styles and even though Shawn's methods make the most sense anatomically they aren't holding up for me at the moment. I've tried both of these guys premium teaching videos. Most Shawn and just started with Tom's to see what I can do in order to get some solid results.

 

I wanted to know why there is so many coaches out there advocating so many different methods and why there is so many contradictions to what they are saying and teaching? This is pretty crazy when it comes down to it. But yea an open discussion on the methods these two use would be appreciated. Tom being a stack and tilt guy which I don't know much about. Shawn just goes based on the fact the body knows what it is doing if we just get out of its way and doesn't talk about positions of the body parts and all the rest of it.

There so many different methods because there is not just one way to swing a golf club. You have to find one that resonates with you and stick with it. Don't go switching when you hit the first obstacle. I recommend finding a coach that is familiar with a variety of different swing styles and can use that knowledge to build on what you show up with and will be easiest for you to repeat.
