FSX live sessions not saving?

I'm probably at 35% of all my FSX live sessions saving where I can go back later and look at the numbers. There doesn't seem to be any consistency on the ones that do save and the ones that don't- so I haven't been able to find the root cause. Every session I'll log in, do my range time, and close things down when finished. Log in on FSX live website later that night to check the stats and compare them to the previous save session but there's nothing there. Has anyone else experienced this or am I missing something obvious?

On what, an iPad? Do you have WiFi every time (or cellular)?

I’ve had this happen as well, probably 15% of the time. I chalk it up to Foresight’s below average servers as I’m on a 1gig fiber connection, hardwired and am running an overlay in game w/ no internet disruption.

While I rarely have issues viewing previous range sessions on FSX Live, they never seem to fully capture all round stats. For example, the birdies, pars, bogey counter very rarely is accurate. Screenshot attached for reference.

Foresight just seems to be lacking across the board and it’s unfortunate. I’m sticking through it but it sure feels like they’re using the public to do live beta testing.

Oddly enough I had three 18 hole completed rounds not save today. Latest version of FSX Play. Driving range sessions from today saved successfully.

Another session not saved. I think that is 5 for 26 so far in 2024. Incredible work Foresight!

Have you written to their support? What have they said?

They first imply that your internet connection is at fault. Even after providing overlay and/or stability logs of a 1gig hardwired fiber connection they still push that.

Their serving recommendation is to reinstall the game…

Neither “solution” resolves, at least for me. I will say that with the new versions I’ve had more unsaved games than previous versions.
