Driver Shaft Recommendation

Ozik Xcon-5, V2, DVS60, NV55 or S63??

Hi guys,

Hope you can help me out. Unfortuneatly, I dont have launch monitor data but can provide some extensive feedback.

My current Driver is a Titleist 905R 10.5* loft paired with a UST PROFORCE V2 shaft
Weight 76g
Torque 2.2

Average swing speed with this bat is between 100 and 108 and Downswing time is about .34 seg.

Main miss is a SLICE that starts very straight and slices after about 180-200 yards. Launch is often higher than I would like and with plenty of SPIN.

Recently I tried my playing partners Callaway FT3 Draw which is fitted with an Aldila NVS 55 shaft, 56g and 4.4 torque. This felt extremely light and whippy but allowed me to swing "easier" and get some pretty good consistant distance (250+). Miss would be a massive straight-pull or "straight-hook"

So the problem....According to most swing speed/shaft flex charts I should be playing a STIFF or even a X shaft however I want to retain this light and whippy feeling of my partners NVS 55 Regular shaft.

After some reading I believe that I should be looking for the following shaft specs:

STIFF with a 3-3.5 Torque (Mid-high Torque to keep "whippy" sensation??)
X-STIFF with a 4.0 Torque
Weight:lighter than 65g

So....what shaft would you recommend? I am completely in the wrong direction??? I KNOW i should just get fit but I dont currently have access to any club fitters that have a launch monitor that dont want to rip me off.

P.S - I am also thinkin of buying either a FT5 or a FT3 to go along with this shaft if my 905R stays as unforgiving as it currently is.
