sasquatch vs 905T

similarities and differences...

I currently play a titleist 905T 10.5 with the graphite design stiff flex shaft. I have a mid to high ball flight with about a 265 average. I know that the sasquatch driver is a lot more forgiving, and that the feel is quite different. But I have heard a couple people say that the sasquatch is short. Can anyone compare the distance and ball flight of these two? thanks!

the sasquatch isn't short, it just spins a lot less. you've really got to be carefull of your loft and shaft selection. for me, the 905t, was too much spin, but again could be shaft selection, and too draw bias.

i like the SQ very much,

 

IMO, i like it better than the 905R...

 

gets me better trajectory and the spin rate, well, a bit too high(due to stock shafts are only in S flex, i use X)

 

SQ tour 9.5 Dia 83S got me 15 degree launch angle, about 274 yds average carry, and spin rate was 3200RPM which was quite high,

 

905R went everywhere, slice, hook, balloon, everything but pure...one i thought i pured was 17 degree launch angle, 230yds...(9.5 wit Speeder titleist was the spec)

 

so i averaged about 235 yds with R according to the launch monitor, and BTW, Spin rate was about 3800RPM...

 

so in conclusion,

 

SQ should be the better choice, because i DO think that it is a very very good driver!
