Losse grips

Today I regripped my irons by myself for the first time. They are Lamkin Crossline Midsize and i used Naphta aka White Spirit aka Ligroin (lokked it up in a dictionary) . The problem is that i thought the clubs would be good to "go" fairly quick but it has been about ten hours and if I apply some pressure I can still twist the grips

How long does it take untill the grips are fixed and does it allways takes this long time?

The tape had a plasic surface so i guess that could be the problem. I got the the from the clubmaker who i bought the grips from so I think it would be strange if he used the wrong type of tape.

Please help me out with what to do. I reallt dont want to cut the grips off since they cost 10.75$ :) here in sweden

The first word I saw that told me you had a problem was the PLASTIC surface that was on the tap! You have to remove it to expose the two face tape or sticky part that lies beneath the plasctic surface. You can use a grip remover that will get the grips off without tearing them up, then take the tape off and re-tape them. Then, remove the plastic surface, then solvent, then put the grips back on!!!

The only thing you did wrong was not removing the plastic TWO SIDED TAPE!!!! :)
