Geotech component driver and iron heads?

Any good?

Ive been looking at tourspecgolf.com and I see some Geotech equipment that looks simple, clean and real good. Anyone have experience with them? Mainly the B-Stream Prototype driver head and the GT455 Black driver? if so, are they low/mid/high launch and low/mid/high spin?

What about their irons? (N-16 prototype head only blades) They look real clean and simple which I like.

I have or had the following Geotech clubs,

GT 455 Black
GT Black 5 and 7 wood
GT 19.5 and 23* hybrid
B Stream Proto 23 and 25 hybrid
EK Forged irons
GT forged wedge

The GT driver (at least the Black) head definitely does not appear to be high spin and I had shafted with a white board and really low spin combination and very long. The only problem with the GT and probably other driver head is the low thud sound rather than a more normal crack as with some model nowadays. I did order a B Stream driver with a Machline Proto shaft for a friend from TSG but never did have a chance to play with it so I cannot give you any feedback on head.

The GT line of fairway is very solid but distance is just normal and I would say more a function of shaft used. It does give a very sweet feel and more normal sound when hit.

The GT line of hybrids feel just as sweet as the fairway except more offset then I like. It looks very much like the old sonartec.

The B Stream hybrid is a very normal non off set hybrid with a round shape and I am still gaming it.

The EK forged irons is my back up set and I am quite happy with it. This particular model is forged in Japan while some forged models are now forged in China or Taiwan. Their Japanese site tell you the country of original of most models. Quality is good for the price.

i've had the RM455 for a while and it was a great performing driver.
nothing really replaced it, it just kinda rotated out from all the other drivers rotating in.
i had a rombax 7x07 in it, seemed like a good combo.

Did you find that japanese equipment were better/equal/worse in terms of feel and performance?

I use the 58 degree GT wedge and it is very nice. Deep grooves, lots of spin, and soft feel. I wish I could find a few more in different lofts.

I play with Geotech irons, and what I paid for them its worth it! I have played others, like the regular OEM brands and I will not go back. These irons are butter, granted Miura are the softest irons on the market, but I love the Geotech irons. You have to play around with the shafts to find your proper fit, I live in Florida so I need something to hit the ball high, so I use the Prolaunch blue.
The Geotech blades are plan with no logo and are sweeeeeet, easy to hit with a nice cg. Good luck

Does anyone know what type of grooves are in the Geotech blades because im tinking of gettin them but i dont know if they are legal for 2010.

Geotech blades have U grooves, you get a lot of spin with these irons.
