Play in a Charity Golf Marathon

It's on Monday, Oct. 12 in Raleigh at TPC Wakefield and the beneficiary is a late stage cancer foundation that provides "WOW" experiences for families with late stage terminal cancer patients (http://www.jajf.org/families/multimedia.cfm). Please look at the link when you have a moment... it's pretty powerful.

 

You play as many holes as you can in one day (starting at dawn) with the field limited to 36 players (go out in twosomes with each player getting his own cart). Entrants solicit pledges from friends/supporters that goes directly to the charity. Then they go play as many holes in one day at TPC Wakefield as they can. Basically, entrant can ask each friend for like $1 per hole played that day.

Here is a radio interview from this morning about the event... which is 12 days away. Some spots are still available for you to join in and help a GREAT cause. TOUR players were really jazzed about the charity and the event at the TOUR Championship and we have items from the players for the participants in the event.
