Ogio Ozone vs. Sun Mountain Four 5

TGW has the Ozone for 100 bucks, but if people think it'd be worth it I'd shell out the extra 90 bucks for the Four 5. I walk most of the time, so the Four 5's problem with not fitting in carts isn't really a problem for me.

 

If anyone else has suggestions for bags I'm all ears! I'd really like to keep price under 150 if possible, but if there's a really good reason to spend more, I might reconsider.

i think for the price the ozone is the way to go..i just got it this morning for 89 bucks and im loving it..

I was looking at a Four 5 last night as I wanted to take another look at them too. I really like the bag and it's features but at $190 I'm glad I went with the Ozone. I like the 14 dividers but the Woode system on the Ozone works fantastic. I actulally like the putter well better at the top of the bag as opposed to the seperate divider for it as it fits better with the putter cover in place. Leg system and straps on the Ozone are great too. I'm very pleased that I went with the Ozone but had to look again as temptation was lurking and making me second guess...

Go with the Ozone and spend the extra $90 on golf instead of equipment!!

I'd go with the Sun Mountain Four 5. The leg system in the Ozone sucks. It's a great bag with a lot of great features; however, if you are walking most of the time (like me), I'd definitely would have paid more for a better bag with a better leg system.

The Four 5 is worth every penny to me. I walk as much as I can and the Four 5 fits in the cart just fine. Just turn it sideways.

I have the Titleist iteration of the Sun Mountain bag.

Its inability to ride properly in a cart just kills the whole pleasure of owning an otherwise perfect stand bag for me. When put in a cart, 2/3 of my pockets become inaccessible or difficult to access, plus the bag will twist and turn in the cart well due to the unbalanced weighting. One set of pockets faces the back seat of the golf cart and the ball pocket is now scrunched up against my partner's bag or the fender of the cart depending on whether I'm driving or riding shotgun.

I'm 50 years old, I prefer to walk and I do so when I'm playing single. But when I play with friends, they want to ride. I can't believe Sun Mountain can't come up with what seems like a simple fix to this totally ridiculous situation.

I'm going Ogio Ozone or Decibel this season for this simple reason alone.

my sm four 5 is a piece of junk....just out of warranty and falling apart....i do know sm makes great bags and makes great bags for titleist...i just got the one bag made at 4:59 pm on a friday evening I guess....doubtful my next bag will be a sm...too expensive and bad taste in my mouth now
