Arranging trip from Ireland

Just in planning stage of trip to Florida in early January for 10 days. Flying in /out of Orlando. Would like to make arrangements around the TPC courses. A problem seems to be that the Marriott packages for 2010 are not yet available and the 'rack' rates are very expensive.
My base plan is to spend three nights in the Jacksonville area and hopefully play TPC Stadium twice and the Valley once. Then move to St Augustine / Amelia Beach and play St Johns and Oak Marsh. Remaining time to be spent in Orlando area, playing Disney Palms, Crooked Cat and maybe Panther Lake.
Appreciate any advice / contacts etc especially in relation to the Jacksonville part. Is this something a US agent could take on ?

I like your schedule for JAX. For Orlando, unless you're wanting to play a PGA track with the Palm, you might consider other alternatives. There's Grand Cypress with Nicklaus' New course a links style, plus 3 9 hole other more traditional courses. There's also Mystic Dunes down near the attractions as well, here's a link to a listing of the better alternatives in the area:

in the jacksonville area, if you can get access to the timaquana country club, it is a beautiful old donald ross course that is worth finding. in orlando, i always play both crooked cat and panther lake, they are very good courses. others around orlando are the golden bear at keen's point and the legacy club at alaqua lakes. both are private and may need some kind of introduction to play, but are worth it. mystic dunes is very nice also. i am going to try to play sugarloaf mountain the next time i am in the orlando area, i have read great things about it. if you have a chance, you might figure out a way to skip amelia island and play for a few days at world woods, which is about an hour or so outside of the disney area. safe trip and enjoy.

I make it a golf trip in October. Played 12 courses in Orlando, Brooksville and Tampa and the best courses are:

1.- Victoria Hills (Deland)
2.-World Woods (2 courses; Rolling Oaks and Pine Barrens)
3.- Sugarlof Mountain (Jacksonville)
4.- Southern Hills Plantation (Jacksonville).-

Sorry for my english, but trust me, grates courses (i´m form Argentina)
