OGIO EDGE STAND BAG

Good deal or not

I have been looking for a solid Stand bag for a few months, i use mainly for practice or traveling. I did not need the lightest on the market, but one that had a sturdy build, plenty of space, and just a good looking bag. I choose the Ogio Edge, in black and silver, and just got it for 110.00 new, including shipping. Did i do well in my choice and the price i found it? Thanks for any input.

It's a solid, great deal!
I have the older Ogio Edge and was very close to pulling the trigger in updating to the '09 Edge, but decided not to (gotta save money... usual problem!), as my current '07 Edge still in very good working condition.
U're gonna find that it's a very well thought out & organized golf bag, but it sure is heavy. I never carry it to walk the golf course. I always use my golf cart.

P.S. Edit- by the way, when I bought my '07, I bought it off from Amazon.com at around $100, shipping included and no taxes (at that time) as a X-Mas present that year for myself. It continues to take a licking, but it keeps on ticking!

I like my Edge a lot for a hybrid carry/cart bag. You will run into some issues with clubs getting tangled, but it's not too bad and happens with most non 14 divider bags. $110 is a pretty good deal. I've also got the black and silver. The bag is well thought out.

Thanks, looking forward to it getting here. It manly will be for practice and travel. I have a TourStage caddy tour bag i use when i am at the club.

Ogio makes quality equipment. The Edge bag prior to 2009 is exceptional. However on the 2009 model they elected to add a large piece of plastic on the front. It may or may not hold up, but personally I hate the looks of it. It makes it look cheap. It did not do well in sales and Ogio has dropped the Edge from it's current line up.

We'll just see, i have heard nothing, but pretty solid reviews, even for the 2009 model. i am looking forward to getting mine, and i will give my empressions then.
