Mizuno Twister Bag

Anyone use this bag?

Hey guys i am in the market for a new bag and i was looking on mizuno's site and saw the twister. it has a large removable side pocket and its a hybrid bag. remove the Pocket for carry, install the pocket for cart. Also, whats the deal with the Kabuki slide and divide top? How does that work? The website does a poor job of explaining it and offers zero pictures of the inside of the bag. Thanks.

I have last years twister which looks to be almost identical in looks and features.
I like the Kabuki top , enough full length dividers to virtually eliminate grip tangle , but easier to get the clubs in and out then some of the 14 way divider bags.

I'm disappointed in the leg design , works ok on the course and range but the legs will not keep the bag upright in my laundry room. On a slick surface ( tile floor) the legs just slide open too far , hyperextending , causing the bag to fall to the floor. Doesn't instill confidence that the legs are going to hold up long term.

The zip off external pockets are a nice touch , makes the bag lighter on trips to the range when i don't need the spare balls, rangefinder, raingear, etc....

The trunk handle is taking some time for me to get used to , not sure if i like it or not. It's perfectly balanced so when you pick up the bag only by this handle the bag will be perfectly horizontal . More comfortable carrying this way then my old bag which was base heavy ( prob about a 35 degree tilt) .
However , while clubs can tend to slide out of the bag while riding in the trunk, the base heavy old bag caused clubs to immediately slide back into the bag when picked up, vs the twister which will leave any clubs extended. Somewhat annoying.

I can't say I highly recommend this bag , but it's worth a look as I wasn't able to find the "perfect" bag.

Wow, thanks paoli for such an extensive review! I was just hoping to get either a "nice bag" or "pass" outta someone! Great info! I really want to walk more next year but i know i will be carting it often as well. So I really want a solid Hybrid cart/stand bag. The only other one I have seen was pretty well hammered here a few weeks ago by guys who use it. (Cant remember which model, I think it was a sun mountain)

Anyone else know of a Hybrid bag worth looking at? Thanks.
