head size of Sonartec ss3.5 and Titleist 904f

Can someone give me a comparison of the head sizes of the above in a 15 degree. How do they compare heel to toe length and face depth. Any other comments would be appreciated. I have played the 904f so I am familiar with it.

They are extremely close. I've hit both side by side, and somewhere saw the cc's on both. I believe that the Sonartec is 160cc and the 904F may be just a tad smaller. However, the Sonartec has a slightly deeper face, so the heel to toe length is still about the same.

 

The Sonartec will be slightly harder to get up off the ground, due to the face depth, but better off the tee, in my opinion. It will also have a slightly lower trajectory than the 904F, and offers a greater variety of lofts (i.e., 13, 14, 15, 16). I played the 14* for a while and regret having traded it

Measurements spot on I think. SS3.5 is a lot harder to get off the ground off a tight lie or a slight downslope. The 15* plays like a 13* off the tee, a really strong 3 wood. C of G is much higher due to the Sonartec design. 15* 904F will hit higher and spin more.

So, I hit the 2.5 off of a mat and hit it quite well. I usually don't do well off the mat. I liked my 904 and would be cool with another. Heard alot about the sonartecs and love the feel of the 2.5 I hit. I will use it for off the tee but its most important to me to be able to hit it off the deck. The course I play weekly has plush fairways that really make it easy to get under the ball. That tells me 3.5 is the way to go....but, I dont want to be stuck when I go to a country club with tightly mowed fairways. Is the 2.5 that different from the 3.5 in playability?

i believe the 904 is 155 in the 15* smaller on higher lofts for ex. a 23*
