POLL: what should i get...?

as a gift for myself........!!

What up fellas..........i got a gift certificate to a local pro shop as a gift......you can call it a early father's day gift or something........but i need all fellow golfers opinion on what i shoud get......basically, the certificate is $200........i don't want to add any money on top of that.......but i will if i have to.....

here's my reason for my option.......

option 1: sun mountian speed cart: why? because i've always wanted one and everyone's been raving about these.....plus....look at how much i can save at the golf course with only paying a green fee and not using one of their cart...........a small $200 investment is good in the long run......

option 2: adidas mens tour 360 golf shoe: why? because of the rave and because of the design of the shoe.........i havn't had a good pair of golf shoe for a while so i'm also in the market for a new pair.....the design and comfort of this shoe........speechless..........

option 3: nice selection of slightly used Scotty Cameron putter: why? i've always wanted a s.cameron. and hopefully i can find a really nice slightly used one somewhere........

so my choices are above.....please select an option and tell me why............what can i benefit from getting this product instead of the other two products listed........

I agree with Pitch, a great pair of shoes makes all the difference if you prefer to walk. You've already got a very nice putter and I know that good comfortable shoes with the right traction saves me strokes later in the round.

I think the cart as you already have a good putter and there are so many other good shaoes out there and the shoes will were after awhile. The cart will pay for itself in the money you save not paying to rent one.

i'm still undecided about it.............i'm thinking that if i can get the adidas 360 shoe for a great price......and get the bag boy express cart.....which in most place is about 130.........i don't have to add that much after my gc........what's your though.....?

I would go with the the Adidas Tour 360's. They are hadns down the most comfortable shoe out there. YOu wont regret getting them over the putter and the speed cart.

Here's a thought... get ALL 3!! ;) If you wanted all 3 before... here's a chance to get all 3 for $200 less off the top!

 

But if not, here's my order of picks:

1. Shoes - cuz if you feet hurts when you play... you can't play.

2. Cart - but only if you have comfortable shoes to walk 18 in. (see above)

3. Putter - too personal, like changing your wife... really doesn't happen unless, well never mind you get the idea.

right now......i'm leaning towards the shoe......white/black/red version.......and then i'm thinking i will get the cart at the end of the season for a end of the season discount price and pick up a s.cameron putter sometime next year...........

 

well the cameron will go sometime next year but the shoe and the cart is a toss up sometime within the next week to months....

I voted for the Speed Cart. If you are paying to use a pull cart every time you play, that will add up to a lot of cash over the season. Enough to buy a pair of shoes undoubtedly! ;) There are a lot of nice shoes out there that aren't $180 a pair. I walk with my Speed Cart, and have FJ Contours. Got them on sale for $74 and they're very comfortable, and come with the same waterproof warranty as the $180 Adidas. Hmm.... Speed Cart AND shoes?

yeah.........i was thinking the same thing......maybe i shouldn't get the tour 360 cause 180 for a pair of shoe..........dame that's expensive.........maybe check back at the end of the season....they might be lower.......

 

so here's what i'm thinking.....i've been on golfsmith, golfgalaxy, tgw, etc.... and looking at a couple of shoes.......the one that seems interesting enough for me to try and possible buy is the adidas torison euro in white/dark brown.......and for about $100......add in the sun mountain speed cart for about $180......all i have to add is about $100 for taxes and leftover and i have the best of both world.........

 

gotta admit it.........i love golf but i rarely walk......i always use one of their electric golf cart......but maybe getting the shoe and the cart will force me to walk more.....in which i should......plus the group that i golf with rarely walk.........we always end up using their elect. golf cart..........damn.....guess how much we'd be saving if we didn't have to pay for the elect. golf cart.......more money in my pocket means more money going towards playing!
