TP-7x - You won't find another one of these

TP7x REGULAR/R9 tip, also Cally FT-9 11°

First up is a real rarity and a superb performer. Matrix Ozik TP7x Regular flex, tipped about 1/2", R9 TP tip installed, Gripmaster grip. Will play at around 44 3/4" in an R9 460. Condition is excellent - I used Liquid Glass to protect the soft-feel finish so there's no wear to speak of. Slight epoxy residue is visible in the pic just above the ferrule but you truly won't notice it except held very close.

I don't know if any shaft is worth the $1,000 retail price of these, but at $350 it's worth some thought, I'd imagine. Feel is super smooth, launch will depend on how you load it but is basically mid-low, spin is mid-low also - not as low as an F7M2 for instance but lower than any Code. Stability is ridiculous - unmatched in any other shaft this smooth. The shaft will load nicely for a swing in the low 90s and will still hang in for smooth swings up around 110. Probably the ideal player is someone with mid tempo around 100mph, who likes to work the ball - it's a shaft for a skilled player who loads most OEM Stiff shafts but doesn't get the stability from them he needs. Few were ever made in R, and fewer still are left in this condition. $350.

Next is an FT-9 Draw 11°, in very good condition, with two shafts. I'll split this set up if need be, but it's a very versatile arrangement as it is. The two shafts - a Javln V6 Stiff and a Bassara 83 Stiff. Wrench is included if you need it. The Bassara is .335, was untipped and plays looser than a full stiff, but is extremely solid and accurate. The Javln is livelier, stouter, and launches a good bit lower. I didn't do the assembly but it measures as .335 also. The pair makes an excellent tandem for a guy who plays both soft and fast courses. The head is high-launching with very low spin, typical FT-9 THWOCK sound, and not a hook machine by any means, just a bit too much loft for me. The head's in excellent condition, just one or two very faint rub-marks or something - too faint for the camera to pick up - but no damage whatsoever. $200 for the full setup seems fair, given what the I-Mix tips go for by themselves. If you need head only or with one or the other shaft we can work out a price. I'd trade the head for a 10° or a 10.5 Tour, either of which would fit me better.
