My first WITB, with photos & a few spares

Finally decided to take some photos and make a thread. This is the set I game:

G10 10.5 w/ V@ LD-4 Stiff
TEE CB2 16.5* 4W w/ stock Tour Edge GD 3W shaft 'R' tipped 1/2"
Callaway 20* 7W stock regular
TEE XCG 16* 2h w/ stock NV85S
TEE CB2 22* 4h w/ UFC 909 regular pulled from Rapture v1 21*
Wishon 585HI w/ Tour Edge GD shaft tipped a lot (looking for a heavier .335 shaft for this guy)
6-PW PING G15 yellow dot w/ AWT regular
TEE Xtreme Spin 50* GW w/ DGS300
PING BeCu Eye 2 57.5* SW w/ DGS300
PING ANSER 35" with a bunch (25 grams) of lead tape





Yes, that's a giant stuffed raccoon sitting at the piano.

G10 driver is indeed painted dark red. We had an epoxy spill that I didn't notice, so I sanded it down and I masked it off and spray-painted it, then a clear-coat.










A couple of key spares. I'll often swap these Alpha RX GF3 hybrids in for the Wishon & TEE. I have Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue in them, regular tipped 5/8". Will put the 5W in for the 4W too, it has V2 High Launch out of a 4W, tipped 1/2". There are only 3 par 5s where I play, so very few opportunities to really go after one from 225+


I'm getting my Eye 2 SW refinished, so I'll put the 58* Vokey in til it gets back. I actually have a bunch of them, bought refinished heads in 52, 54, 56 & 58. I don't usually use the UW, unless I'm pulling something out of the other end of the bag and going with 3 wedges. I also have Tour-W 50 & 54 that go in sometimes.

Thanks. I love the Eye 2 series. I pulled the head last night after I took the pictures, it's getting a little worn so I'm getting it refinished. I'll definitely post before and after pics when it comes back. Really like how the BeCu looks, I have a BeCu Zing2 sand wedge and a Zing5 BeCu putter too that has a sweet patina.

I've always been a PING guy. I played as a teen from 96-99, then didn't play til 2008. My first OEM irons were ISI and I played them as my gamer set until I bought the G15s last fall. Over the winter I became a real club ho, and started learning how to do some tinkering. I now do lots of re-grips for guys I know, replace bent/broken iron shafts, pull shafts & install new ones. I'm always looking for cool deals on clubs, shafts, heads, grips, you name it.

I'm honestly not a great player, I play off 10.5 and only break 80 maybe 1 in 10 rounds. Since I started golfing again in 08, I've seen solid, consistent improvement, from 20 to 15 to 11 over the last 2 seasons. It's been a miserable spring, so I've only got maybe 20 rounds in so far, but I'm shooting low 80s, high 70s almost every time out. [i]3 to 6[/i] over per 9 is pretty normal, hopefully once it dries out and warms up I can get to a single digit index and see some more progress this year!

Clubs are good to go man! BUT .... biggest kudos on the raccoon at the piano. Not many people I know can pull that off.
