Byron Morgan DH89 with Soundslot

Excellent condition

OK guys, I have this Byron Morgan DH89 putter that I traded for on this site back in the spring. I have yet to ever play it, the member I received it from took very good care of it. I do not know a lot about the putter so I may not be able to answer too many questions on it.

The putter is in Excellent shape, there is a ding on the back of the hozzle that I show in the pictures and on the back line of the cavity there is a mark, you can see this in the pictures as well. These do not affect playability at all nor do they show at address. The finish appears to be oil can, grip is a black Iomic and headcover is in included. I do not know the weight of the head although I would guess around 350 grams. If any of you Byron Morgan collectors know then please reply to this thread and let the other members know as well.

I was the original owner of this very sweet putter. The marks on the hosel are from where I had the lie adjusted a few degrees flatter (to 69* I think). They are not visible at address and obviously in no way affect playability.

 

Headweight is 347g (350g original weight and about 3g lighter because of the soundslot) carbon steel with an oil can finish. No sight dot or sight line on the putter either. I counterweighted the putter with a clevis pin but not sure if this has been removed. It can easily be if not.

 

Seeing these pictures makes me realise how much I miss it. Great opportunity to pick up an awesome Byron for someone.

Thank you Eagle006 for replying and letting us know of the specs. Yes it is a very sweet putter and will be great in someones bag.

Someone needs a Byron in their bag, I will entertain reasonable offers.
