Hello to everyone! So glad I found this forum; been lurking about for awhile and finally made the decision to join last night. :drinks:

Been playing this game we all love since I was 5 years old. I was introduced by my father, who grew up with the game himself as a lad in Cardiff. My mum (she's from Swansea) supported this interest whole-heartedly-it saved her from a life of insanity trying to chase me about the house! :tongue: A few things about me...

Born and live in: Ontario, Canada/Cardiff, Wales (summers when I was a kid-do the same for my son now...)

Height: 5'2" - cue the Ian Woosnam jokes; I know I make the man look like a giant :cheesy: Hell, I played High School golf at barely 5 feet- so 5'2" I see as an improvement!

Nicknames-"Little Seve" or "The Ginger Lion". The 1st one came by me in high school, given by my coach-back then, I was prone to the odd adventure in tall grass or the woods. :fool: I took it as a serious insult; at the time a teammate had laughed and said it was because "He couldn't hit a fairway to save his Word not allowed and neither can you" ( I had replied that if he laughed at me again, he wouldn't have a mouth to laugh *with because I'd slap it off his face) Now that I'm older, I see having my name mentioned in the same breath as his for the honour it was-but one I am far from deserving of.

Golfing Idols: Tom Watson, Ian Woosnam, Annika Sorenstam and Seve Ballesteros

Game philosophy: If I can envision the shot in my head, then it's possible to produce it on the course. Tend to favour an all out aggressive, attack-the-course style of play. Though with age&experience, I've learned to temper that *a little bit*;)

Best Memory: Being able to watch the Ryder Cup 2010 at Celtic Manor with my 7 year old son and passing on the game to him like my father did for me. He's already picked up a set of Jr. clubs and started to play. Makes his Mum proud. :good:

Best Shot: Don't know. Haven't hit it yet! (LOL) As for the best shot I've seen, two words say it all. " Car park"-enough said.
