Rivertowne in nice, but Charleston National is not bad at all. Conditions are a bit more irratic though. In Mt Pleasant, you also might wat to Try Dunes West. Wild Dunes is also out that way and both the Harbor Course and the Links course are good fun and very well kept IMO.

Ocean is definitely nice. You should also consider the other Kiawah options (there are 5 public and 2 private courses there). Cougar Point and Osprey Point are Both wonderful. I'm also a huge fan of the two private courses on Kiawah. Both River Course and Cassique are phenomenal.
