you're reverse pivoting and hanging back with your head too much. with that move it's almost impossible to pivot correctly and keep turning through the ball.....so your miss is probably something thin, off the heel, and maybe a flippy hook?

i'd simply work on the feeling of your left hip going deep behind you in the downswing, and feeling your right shoulder being directly connected to that deep left hip and thus coming out and covering over the ball through impact. may also have to feel like your whole upper body's moving forwards through impact.

you basically have what he's describing around 2:50....where you probably know you're trying to hit it from the inside, but you're going about it wrong so it's causing the right shoulder to drop way back and under, and then the only thing to do from there is thrust your hips forward and flip at the ball.

thanks. yea something seemed a bit odd to me when i saw those videos. my misses tend to be pull hooks. and i also feel like i havent been storing power properly on my backswing and lose some distance which is evident on my drives- where i tend to max out at 250-255.

how drastic is my reverse pivot do you think?

found the Pivotpro product- i can replicate that by simply placing a golf shaft in to the ground against my right leg at set up cant I?

i think your coil in the backswing is pretty darn good, which is what that training aid seems to be trying to fix. you initially move your head to the right a bit, but it seems like a trigger and it creates some spine tilt late in address that's fine. it's the downswing where things are mainly going awry.

i'd just watch that video i posted a couple times and really focus on the things he's talking about in the following range sessions.

yea i agree. i remember seeing some of my swings from 5-6 years back with my driver. i would basically dip down instead of staying level and having my left left straight. eager to fix these faults as ive known for quite some time that im losing 20 yards or so on my drives.

yea im gonna take those tips to my next range session.
