hit a lot of draws, yea?

you have a lot of early extension (which seems to be the trend on this forum in the past week....and may just be the most popular problem in the golf swing amongst amateurs, even low handicaps). basically your pelvis/butt is moving towards the ball throughout the swing and you're standing up. a lot of times it creates an over the top move, but in your swing you get your right elbow way behind you and drop the club inside so it creates a slinging, in to out release. if your timing's off, you probably end up hitting blocks and flipping low draws.

i think this video's one of the better ones at explaining the faults, and giving you something to visualize and work on...

this is another great one by monte, you have the issue that he describes around 3:30

basically not enough spine tilt, you know you gotta hit it from the inside, your drop the right shoulder and get your arms down and behind you....and there's nothing left to do but thrust towards the ball instead of pivot correctly. on top of that, you're also standing up and losing your butt line and some of your posture in the backswing as well, which makes those downswing positions even more severe.

and two videos talking about keeping your arms in front better than i could explain here...

and one important thing to help keep yourself from getting your arms stuck behind is to get the club more outside in the takeaway. right now your first move is to rotate the wrists and pull the club back to the inside. ideally to get you on a better plane and keep the arms in front, there would be no wrist breakdown and the club would move almost straight back away from the ball initially.....and would only start to go up and in because of the shoulder rotation.

work on those 3 things and you'll put yourself in a position where you can really compress the ball and it won't be so timing and flip oriented. bad news is, it'll probably take a good amount of time and thousands of range balls to change that stuff and ingrain the correct feelings. good news is that they're all interconnected. when you get more spine tilt at address, take the club outside more and keep your arms in front of your body, you won't be so inclined to early extend. and when your arms are in front of your body with correct spine tilt, it's easy to turn the left hip deep in the downswing, without coming over the top or needing to drop the club inside, and hit the ball flush and straight.

couple pictures to show you what i'm talking about....
green line was the back of your butt at address. you can see at the top you've moved way off it....tour players and great ballstrikers will stay on that line or break through it the other direction. also notice the right elbow flying way behind you.
halfway down you can see you've moved even further off the line, and your right elbow is stuck way behind your hip.
impact/release, way way off the line in a position where most of your spine is vertical and the only thing left to do is sling it out right.

good luck.
