Weather permiting lookin to play in next 2 weeks

I know there are alot of you from the Raleigh,NC area. The weather has been great and looking to play some more golf before the 1st of the year when I have to get back to work full time. Hola at me if anyone wants to get together and play some golf in the area.



Only pre requisite is to be able to have fun do not care about ability just ability to have fun and get out and of the couch!!

The next time I'm playing will be after Christmas in Naples, FL if we go down...her folks have a 2nd home there and her sister lives there.

Where is that, and how is it? I've heard good things about it.

Chaple Ridge is in Pittsboro or just outside of it. It's an excellent course, great greens, fairways, practice range. It's fairly new so it's still growing into itself, but it's a challenge nonetheless. utopiapga has the course record there, 63 I think? Right Craig? I'm game, and so is Iwillflyu, and with all likely Robert. Love that course. Maybe you can look at my swing then, Craig?

Yes it is.Since you go there alot Craig, maybe talk with Bruce Stone, the head pro, and see if we can do a golf outing there, possibly after the holidays, and we can do a golfwrx outing there and get to meet some great people, seeing we can still golf in Jan/Feb and people travel to golf over here anyway? Sorry about not including you veeman1152, I'm sure you'll play also, right? and tree572?

I might can play (depending on schedule), but I'm going to shoot mid 90's at best...note I said at best.

 

My brother-in-law and a local buddy might also be able to play.

played Tobacco Road and Tot Hill down there. Talk about Target golf.....

Yeah, those courses require some spot on approaches!

Yes it is a Fred Couples design and as far as I am concerned it is the best course in the area and not even matured yet. The course is only a year old now and has not grown to it's own yet. But the greens are the fastest and smoothest greens in all the area and is also a very playable course for all handicaps. When it is dry it plays fast and short even from the back tees. When it is wet it plays longer than any course around and a great challenge even for the lowest handicap.

 

The best feature of this course is the layout, it suits any handicap and offers a great landscape and beautiful holes for asthetic value.

I'm interested in playing. I won't be shooting anywhere around par the way I am playing but would enjoy getting out and playing some. I have heard good things about Chapel Ridge but have never played there.
