nike forged wedge vs. vokey oil can

shaft comparison s200 vs. s400

alright, i've got a set of vokey oil can wedges (54* and 60*) and a set of nike wedges (53* and 58*). i've been using the nike's the last 6 monthes and today decided to put the vokeys back in the bag. my short game was head over heels better. i'm trying to figure out if it is a difference in the shafts lead to it, or just the head design. the vokeys are standard with s200 shafts and the nikes are standard with s400. has anyone noticed a significant difference between these two wedges or these two shafts?

only like 6-8 grams diff. in weight...

are u sure the forged nikes have s400's, i know the new sv's do but the forged didn't come with s400 standard( i think )

i got these before they took them off the nike site and nike said they had s400 shafts.

i played with the nikes today, and my short game was horrible. i don't know if i am going to reshaft the nike wedges or if they are out and the vokey's are back in. its looking good for the vokey's right now though, maybe even a new set, 52* and 58*

I've had the Nike Forged 53* and 58* wedges for about 6 months now. After the first few rounds I had them reshafted with TT DG Superlite S200 shafts, and in my opinion this made a world of difference, with increased feel on the partial swing shots. They shipped with the Nike badged shafts which the clubmaker said were DG S400. The SL shafts brought the swingweight down a bit closer to my D3 Nike PC PW creating less of a transition.

thanks for the advice ben d. i went to shop, and i am going to get them reshafted with rifle shafts, probably 5.5 for the 53*, 5.5 or 5.0 or something in between for the 58* and a rifle spinner 5.5 for the 60*. i'm gonna get the swing weights checked and matched to my pitching wedge.
