Flightscope Mevo is Garbage as is their customer service

Completely fed up with my Mevo. Bought it in March, had inconsistent results with it. Finally sent it back as it got worse (really inconsistent on measures range and shots and compared using trackman one time). The unit got worse the more I used it. Finally sent it back, after three weeks got it back and worked for a week or two then horrible inconsistent again. No help from customer service, same BS lines - is it the right height, the right altitude etc. their attitude is everyone is idiots and it’s user error. So sick of dealing with them. Total waste of money and time.

Nothing more frustrating than getting a dud product and not having the company even acknowledge it. The Game Golf Pro was like that for me, terrible experience.

FWIW, my experience with the Mevo was the opposite. I actually got a DOA unit when I ordered mine and wound up getting personal emails from the commercial VP, some extra geegaws in the mail with the replacement unit they overnighted to me, follow ups from the design team to see how I liked it, and the performance of mine has been great. I actually liked the experience so much I wound up buying a used Flightscope for a home setup.

One thing I did learn bringing both to the range is that my facility is slightly downhill, so the distances I could see with my eye were longer than what either unit records. And our range balls really don't go as far as a game ball. I think there's a discovery phase with any launch monitor. Then again, I also learned there are bad units for sure, as I said my first one wouldn't even turn on...its a shame there's not a better way to know if any of them are giving accurate readings as so many variables come into play in actual use.
