Bending an i15 Driver

Maybe a naive question but I'd value advice.

For 2 years I have played and enjoyed using a 9* Ping G400 driver set at stated loft. I don't hit it more than 220yds at best (I'm 68- play off 10) but I hit in excess of 70% of fairways in regulation.

My stock shot is a draw and I don't want to change that.

Now, a couple of weeks ago I (literally) inherited an 11* Ping i15 in mint condition. It's a beautiful club and I'd love to put it in the bag at least now and again. Unfortunately it has a stiff shaft so I plan to have Ping change that to a regular Alta CB as in my G400. From all I've read the i15 is inclined to be fade biased and that seems to me to be the case with this club in my hands. (I've had one short range session with it. I wasn't slicing it but in my hands it was reluctant to draw.)

So, I'm wondering if the change to a softer shaft might be enough in itself to allow me to turn it over more easily or if I should also ask Ping to bend it a little closed (? how much) in the hope that I can continue to hit small draws as my stock tee shot.

At the end of the day I don't expect it to supplant my G400 but it is, to my eye, a lovely object with considerable sentimental value and I'd like to be able to play it now and again. I'd value any advice
