Any good?
Im thinking of getting a rife putter and am a little confused about the device which changes the lie. Is it on all their models, does it work well? Does it change the loft and face angle etc if not done correctly.

I'm looking at the cayman and cant see how the lie angle could be changed easily. I hope I'm wrong.

Any reviews on the cayman and barbados would be appreciated.

If you have any experience with rife putters please comment.

Cheers....

Yeah, I had a 2-Bar and the system works fine. Very easy to adjust but if you don't do it correctly, I'm guessing loft could be affected also. It would just depend on the angle you pull the shaft. But it isn't that hard.

It is easy to do but that particular model does not come with a tool . Any golf shop should be able to adjust it for you when you purchase it , or if you , your golf shop or club custom ordered one from us with your specs we would make those adjustments for you . I do use the tool myself out on Tour when I am working with a Player to get it where we want and then run to the trailer to check the Loft & Lie .

what makes the rife putter so easy to change the lie angle as opposed to other putters?

Is the cayman etc as easy to modify as the two bar putters or is there a differance?

I'm not so sure that all of them are easier to bend than other putters as much as it's that we pomote it . Some of ours are easier , like the Original 2 Bar that has a aluminum pin . They bend from the Hosel the only putter that would bend from the shaft would be a putter with no hosel like a double bend in the Barbados . I think the Cayman is just as easy as any of our others to adjust but the shorter the hosel gets it sometimes feels like its harder to move .

You really don't even need that tool the putter goes into. I just stepped on both sides of mine and bent it.

True, you could do that but the purpose of the tool is to keep you from standing on the putter and potentially harming the finish. The tool also helps make sure the loft isn't affected I would think.
