Well how did she go ? I just put a Comp NT 65-S in a 2009 Burner. What a beautiful shaft especially in this head with the blue accents. I put a blue NDMC grip on it which looks slick. Try it out Thursday.

The 65 regular really plays much closer to stiff. Very tight dispersion and no ballooning. Now, I am looking for a Rombax 6x07, but until then this shaft is great will tide me over.

I had an L4V with a Rombax 5Z08. Didn't like the Rombax Z, felt very harsh. Currently hitting 9015D with Fuji Motore F1 65-S, its a great combo, nice smooth shaft. Had the 09 Burner / Comp NT cut to 47" initially just for kicks, it's E.0 swingweight. Will probably cut it down to 46" at about D4.

I have the 6X07 in my 3 wood, and IT DOES NOT feel harsh at all.

However, I am going to have to find a pull on eBay 'cause I cannot fathom dropping $300 for a shaft!

an 8.5 F11 is being delivered today with a 65x in it......very anxious and curious to find out how it works out.

update, works great...........much better than the matrix ozik "upgrade" i had before

The Graffalloy NT Prototype shaft is an older shaft. I have used one years ago in an old Snake Eyes head that performed well. I happen to have one that I have never used. In everyone's opinion, how does it stack up to today's current shaft offerings?

One of my favorite fairway shafts. I had the 85g in a Mizuno F50 which was fantastic. I have since moved on but I just shafted up 2 of these 85g shafts for my Titleist 913Fd and Ping Anser 3 woods. Can't wait for spring to see if one of these combos can beat out my 913Fd Rogue Black. The Rogue has been a good shaft but tends to get a little loose in dispersion which was never a problem for the Comp NT.
