should i change my putter

i currently have an odyssey white steel 2ball and have not been putting well over the last few weeks. i feel as if it is not helping my stroke and that it is more of a hindrance than a help. would it benefit me if i changed to a more conventional putter like a scotty or rossa daytona. replies would be greatly appreciated

yes, your confidence is obviously gone in the putter, or you wouldn't be here asking this question...Like Vijay says, "Don't be afraid to change putters, whatever it takes to get the ball in the hole."

Well if you used a 2 ball, you should consider the ping craz-e or ug-le

I am a huge advocate of changing out putters and definitely agree with Vijay (by way of titleistpro2). Once I got some consistency in my putting stroke I started some widespread experimentation. Through that I was able to establish EXACTLY what I liked in a putter and work from there. If you want to go to the classic stylings--nothing beats Ping, plus they can be had on the cheap from ebay (little on the light side though). I learned that my favorite putter shape is the Anser 4 and have been able to replicate/upgrade that to the BB18. Before that I had putted almost exclusively with mallets and neo-mallets, and still go back when I need an allignment fix. How a putter fits your eye is about as important as how it fits your stroke. I say go for it. :) Good luck.
