Not Been On For A While!

Hi to all,

Long time member who hasn't been on here for a while. I've just started a new job in Sydney (with no intention of returning to the cold!).

Just seeing if there are many members on here from Sydney and what the situation is with meeting up, advice on the best courses etc?

I'm in Surry Hills at the moment but looking at apartments in the CBD.

I'm currently playing at The Lakes.

I spend 6 months a year down here (from the States). Been doing that for around 3 years now.
I live on the North Shore. PM me and I can give you some insight on some of the area.

I live in Narrabeen, and play at Balgowlah on the Northern beaches.



How is the lakes looking after all the recent rain?

Enjoying it so far. Haven't been to the North Shore yet but I'm going to start exploring over the next couple of months.

The course seemed to cope reasonably well although it now plays [i]significantly[/i] longer than when I first arrived! I'm playing under a corporate membership at the moment so still looking for advice on courses to join.

I've done a bit of research and found some decent membership prices but the joining fees seem pretty high. Is that the norm round here?


P.S If anyone local fancies a round or a beer (or both!), let me know.

Sydney can get pretty cold during the winter. Not minus cold but cold enough
