Need a new shaft for 913 d3

So I am in search for a new shaft in my 913. I currently play a diamana 82g x flex which is not a bad shaft it's straight but a little butt stiff for my liking. I thought I liked it until I hit a similar diamana 72g x flex and liked it a lot more. My SS is around 108-115 and I hit a med high ball flight. Normally hit 280-300+ pending conditions. I am by far not a long driver compared to most other people on here, Just your average weekend warrior ;).

 

Around me it sucks, I don't have any fitters who carry a Speeder TS 7.2 x flex or even S for that or any other exotic shafts. So it's most likely going to be a trial and error on here of buying a few used shafts and trying them out. Just trying to get some opinions on what you think would work or if the Speeder TS 7.2X would be as "boardy" as my 82g X shaft. My shaft is stock length and no tipping.

 

I like the ball flight from the 82G x diamana but it's just makes the club feel very heavy and the but is super stiff it feels like. My miss hits are not too bad I just feel like I have lost some distance or it's harsh feeling unless I completely go at it.

 

Any suggestions?

I would try and find a good deal on the 72g Diamana shaft you liked.

I didn't love the whiteboard x (even though thats what i was fitted for). I have a harder time with shafts because i like a lower ballflight. The Rip Phenom was a good middle ground for me. Try that one out.

If its the same model and build but just 10 grams heavier, the 70 g shaft should actually feel stiffer. Maybe the 80 is tipped or cut shorter ?

Just read where u said it's not tipped and 45" so nevermimd . What are the two models ?

So I ended up selling the 82G whiteboard all stock specs since I purchased it from Dans Discount golf.

Picked up a Motore Speeder TS TV 7.2 x-flex. Put on a new multi-compound grip with 2 pieces of tape. First time I have tried 2 pieces of tape and really like it. The shaft is soooo smooth compared to the whiteboard. It's super straight, I can work it left and right and feel a lot more confident, I really like the feel of the shaft, whether or not it's because it's 10g lighter I'm not sure just swing it great. It also does not feel near as butt stiff as the whiteboard I had.

I am just having mixed reviews if I shouldn't have tried to get a Tour Spec Stiff rather than the x-stiff. Ball flight is good, I can just feel the shaft stays with me a little more. I probably have lost 10 yards I would guess. I have not played a round with a few buddies who drive as far as I do if not more to good to compare distances with. I probably average 290ish. Played with it the other day but it was super wet so I got zero roll so hard to tell what a dry distance might be.

The Motore Speeder TS is my favorite shaft of all time, and I have played whiteboards for years. I just picked up a Fuel however and really like it as well, but from what you are saying in the post I doubt you would OP, because it does feel a lot more boardy. You made a great choice, hope you keep loving it!

^^ I did sell my 82g whiteboard x-stiff and purchased a motore speeder 7.2 TS VC X-stiff. I am debating on whether or not I should have gotten it or the same exact shaft but just in a Stiff.

I have a motore speeder 9.8 TS Stiff in my a hybrid and I can feel the kick and probably get more distance out of the stiff than the x stiff since my SS is kind of on the verge of a S and XS.
