Best golf insurance in the UK?

If you guys could help me that would be great. ive just started building a really good bag and it is getting to a stage where it would cost £1000 to replace it all.

I've not bought specific golf insurance but you should check your household policy first as some do cover items such as golf clubs away from the home (and also car insurance occasionally - when all the planets are aligned on the third saturday of the new millenium - covers theft from cars). Most of the offers I have seen seem to be sold on rubbish like coverage of the costs of buying drinks for a full clubhouse when you have your hole-in-one and liability cover for when your sliced drive causes a 5 car pile-up on the road outside the course. The premiums look expemnsive as a separate policy.

 

Having said all that, Golfplan is at least PGA endorsed, if that counts for anything and every golf magazine I buy seems to have a bit of advertising from them.

I've got mine through American Golf mate.

 

Not sure what the company is that they go through but it's not to expensive and the cover seems o.k.
