Too me, your hands at Impact are a bit far back. If you stop your 2nd vid at 00:14, you can see that your arms are almost behind your head. Thus I assume you have a rather shallow AoA. With an impact postion with your hands more forward, you would deloft your Club and get better compression and thus hit it farther

GA,

I do personally like to see a lower body that is NOT marked by lateral hip sway and knees that wobble around. You have a nice quiet lower body and as a result your upper half isn't a mess. That said, there probably needs to be a more dynamic rotation of the hips going back and a more open body (hips and shoulders) in the downswing. In other words a "quiet" lower body is good from a swaying/squatting/sliding standpoint - but there is a need for the lower have to be actively rotating. The hips sort of "respond" the to shoulder turn going back. And as long as you don't overdo things by "ripping" the hips open in the downswing - they should lead off in the downswing by rotating and the shoulders then travel with them coming back down.

I think if you looked at either video and stopped tape right at impact - Golf Nerd's advice would really resonate with you. At impact your shoulders, chest, hips (pretty much the whole smash) is right about exactly where it was at address. If you were to go look online at any reasonable golfers swing and stop their video at impact, you would see how they have opened the body and the trail elbow (right side for right handers) would be passing the rotating hips through impact.

So back to Golf Nerd's point -- you can achieve all this through focusing more on your turn -- and letting the handle and arms travel in front of the sternum more back and through. Hope this helps out a little and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the reply's guys. So is it possibly a case that cos I haven't rotated enough that I could be coming over the top with longer clubs??

Absolutely! Plus if you can lean to incorporate it while keeping that nice rhythm and flow to your existing swing -- you will gain control and yardage without swing one bit harder. This forum is riddled with golfers trying to have your tempo and arm flow and stability of the upper half of the swing -- AND also getting the lower have to work a little better. Its a challenge -- feels very odd at first -- but you already have half (the upper half) of the equation largely solved.

Great thanks for the tips, I'll get out in the morning and work on them.

So got out for some practice this morning. Seem to be getting a better connection and also hitting a few left.

Still lots of work to do was just working on the turn in the swing this morning, so still the length to deal with. Also was unable to practice with the longer clubs so hopefully tomorrow I can and see if there's any improvement in shot shape there.

Here's a couple of videos.

The down the line video had two swings in it so its a bit longer.

Thanks

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
