Kiva Dunes in mid March 2015...Current Conditions???

Need a getaway trip and we have chosen Gulf Shores area, specifically the Kiva Dunes property.

First time to the area and I am hoping for some local input on what to expect this time of year as to course conditions, temps, weather patterns, wind, etc...

This will be the only course I will get to play due to our limited schedule, so a RTJ trail is out this time around.

The course looks challenging from satellite view and other older threads confirm the same. Although some stated varying course conditions in the past.

My goal with this thread is to gain input on current conditions (said that already), and possibly meet a fellow WRXer for a friendly round.

I would attempt to meet up with you on my wedding anniversary trip down with my wife on the 13, 14 & 15 but evidentially we're going to Nashville. My post won't be much help to you but I did talk with a friend that lives down there today and they said it was about 75* and sunny. I haven't played it in a couple of years but bring plenty of balls and of course being on the ocean wind is a factor. It's well worth the money in my opinion.

From what I've read they went through a rough patch a few years back but hopefully now that is all behind them.
I could call the pro shop but I'm sure they will tell me it is perfect.
I am going to play it no matter what but always nice to hear from a fellow WRXer.

No he hasn't been on it lately.
My wife loves the Wolf Bay Restaurant in Orange Beach at Zeke's Marina so if I tempt her with it she might bail on Nashville. I just have to find a way to make it her idea and not mine!
