Not to mention a bunch of my father's friends are members there..

 

You're lucky! It's a beautiful beautiful course! I'm afraid to take a divot there because it's such a beautiful course! I'll be a member there one day.

Well it is just in ok shape so far. Greens are almost back from the winter blues. The fairways are a ways away from where I would like them.

 

I am spoiled, played most of my golf at Blue Heron Pines East Course the last couple of years. ad well as playing in a traveling golf league in metro philly that picked pretty good tracks as well.

Worst round I've played in 4 or 5 years! Can't even begin to tell you how bad I did...1 F8kn par... and the rest was an abortion for the ages!!!! It was good to play with the guys, 3 really great guys and I'd play with them again in a moment.

CD was our Yoda! My man can play! and has a great attitude... it was funny CD's great attitude and my miserable a** in the same cart!

 

I'm about to scrap the game for the year that's aggrivated I am over my game yesterday...

 

but it was a beautiful day, great partners and a great course!

Hope you guys all had a good time, and the course was worth the ride for the guys who had to drive a little bit. It was not in as good of shape as it had been in the past, they depserately need to get some guys out there with buckets of sand to fill in the divits on some of the shorter par 4's.

 

And SID, thanks for the compliment on my game, but you saw how a guy can turn what could have easily been an even par round into a round in the high 70's. My short game is in some serious need of work.

 

Not to mention even if my driver did not get me in trouble, I am still not happy with my X 460 I put in the bag at the end of last year. SOOOOOOOOOOO, I went to Golfsmith last night and traded it in for a 905 R. Which I promptly took to Little Mill to play 9 holes, still not crazy with my tee ball. But signs that things could be heading in the right direction.

 

In the end, would certainly do it again.

 

And I did not keep score, or the card. But I think there were a couple pictures taken, and someone should have the scores.

CD, I have the card I think you shot an 79 and then using my abicuss I'm not sure how I shot a 101 but as bad as I played from tee to green it should have been at least 190!

 

Again, I have to appologize for the way I played, it was embarrasing and a hinderace to 3 really great guys! I look forward to selling my clubs and just meeting you guys at the bar! LOL

 

Anyways, I owe you a beer by the way CD, I didn't realize till I was at the Berlin Circle that I forgot to give you my $$'s for the beer!!! I appolagize for that, that's not me.. the wife was ragging on me so I had to get before my Nuts were in a vise!

 

Tp, James, and CD Thanks Guys! I hope to play with you guys again, but actually play the way I can and not my evil twin! Maybe it was the new shirt and pants the wife bought me..as I said when we started I'll blame everything but me just to make me feel better! LOL

 

Lastly, just got a call from my bro-in-law who's playing a tourney at little mill this morning,,,I'm hoping he calls me back to ask me to play in his place!!! :friends: He's not a golfer btw..

I think it's private so I'm wondering if he'll teach a non-member.. I do know about 10members there so I'll have to ask them..

Hi guys, I had a great time saturday!!! cdesana really showed us how to compress a golf ball. (I picked up a hula hoop and will be working on the drills you mentioned)

I can attest that Vinny from Burlington Country Club is good. I got recommendations from Simp and took one lesson from him about a month ago. I am arranging to get my second one.

 

Oh, btw, Vinny does accept non-members for class since I am not a member there :-)

 

Sounds you guys have a great outing, sorry I am late to know the outing. Will try to join you guys next time. Man, last time when Simp and I played at Mercer Oaks a month ago, it was rainy and windy!

Hey guys. I'm really glad to hear that it sounds as if you all had a great time. I really wish I could have made it but duty was calling and as I started up my own law firm that same week it just wasn't in the cards.
