ok, heres what I see. your lower body is outracing everything else through the swing. this is evidenced by the lifting of your right heal VERY early while your still in your downswing. I would love to see that heal stay on the ground atleast untill impact. you have a really strong grip, causing the clubface to stay shut throughout the swing. your in a good position at the top, right at parralel. but if you look at the clubface its pointing straight at the sky.

weaken your grip a bit into a more neutral position. this will allow you to get the clubhead in a better position throughout the swing. in the down the line view, take a look at the clubface when the club gets to waste high in your backswing. you want the clubface to mirror your spine angle. also, at the top, you want the clubface to be at the same angle as your left wrist. you will easily be in these key positions if you take a more neutral grip.

at first weakening your grip might cause you to hit a fade, but I think if you keep that right heal down untill impact and let your hips lead the swing, instead of your legs, you'll be in a better position to turn the club over through impact which will keep you from losing it right (most of the time :russian_roulette: ). try to think about turning your hips through the swing instead of throwing your lower body towards the target.

Your clubface is completely shut during your backswing. Try to keep it square to your backswing path and have it mirror the back of your left hand at the top.

Also, your alignment looks off in the down the line video. Your shoulders appear to be aligned left of the target but that could just be the video. But check your alignment to be sure.

And finally, there's nothing necessarily wrong with the way you're approaching the impact zone for drivers and woods but how are your iron shots? You don't see too many people lean back like that through impact. The modern swing has more of a stacked position. You look fairly fit but you could injure your lower back with that swing because the follow throw appear to resemble a reverse C.

Anybody have any good drills to correct his leg slide? I too suffer from the same ailment.

How do i go about changing the angle of my clubface at the top of my backswing?

My shoulders may be a little bit open, but i notice when i bring my left shoulder forward my drive straightens out completely however overcompensating gives me a sharp hook. I'm consciously looking for that sweet spot with shoulder alignment.

I don't know what the term stacked means, however when hitting my irons and wedges i dont make the same reverse c, unless there is some tree i need to fly the ball over to get to the green.

My lower back is often tight at the end of a round but I've started incorporating a lot of lower back strength training into my workout, and plan to really train hard this coming off season. I figure by next year I'll be in the best shape of my life.
